I’m Colton Brown, an Industrial Designer with a Bachelor’s degree from Humber College. I have a passion for creating user-friendly products and interactions. I have several developed skills in Computer-Aided Design, Graphic Design, Design Research and Prototyping.

My current role with GVA Lighting involves developing renderings in Dialux, to assist clients in finding the right solution for their architectural lighting needs. Programming and designing lighting schedules in Pharos and Nicolaudie control systems. As well as, working with engineering and manufacturing specialists to develop, evaluate and improve products and processes on our production floor. In the past, I worked as a Design Research Assistant with the McMaster Automotive Research Center (M.A.R.C) where I provided assistance in Design Research, Idea Generation, Design Development, and Prototyping.

I’m an enthusiastic, driven and collaborative individual who enjoys every new challenge. I bring a fresh perspective to all my designs. I’m looking for a full-time position in the field of Industrial Design where I can apply my skills and creativity to solve real world problems.
